How fast can you get to me in the Sydney CBD?
We’re typically on site in 15 to 30 minutes. When you call, tell us the building, the floor and the best entrance, and we confirm an arrival time on the phone. If peak-hour traffic in the Sydney CBD will slow us down, we tell you before we set off.
Can you change or repair our office or shop locks after hours?
Yes. We’re open 24/7, so we can change, repair or rekey your locks before you open or after you close, without interrupting trade. Businesses get an invoice for the work.
Should I rekey the office after a staff member leaves?
If they had a key and didn’t return it, or you’re not sure how many copies exist, yes. Rekeying changes the inside of the existing lock so old keys stop working, and it costs less than replacing the lock. We cut new keys on the spot for the people who still need them.
Can I change the locks on my Sydney CBD rental apartment?
In NSW, a tenant usually needs the landlord’s consent to change or add a lock, apart from an emergency and a few other cases. The rules are on the NSW Government page about keys, locks and security devices in a rental property. If your building has a strata key system, check with building management too. We can talk you through the options on the phone.
Will you damage my apartment or office door?
In most cases, no. We pick or bypass the lock rather than drilling, so the door, the frame and the building’s hardware stay intact. If a faulty lock can’t be opened any other way, we explain why and give you the price before we start.
Are you a licensed locksmith?

Can you cut spare keys for my apartment or office?
Yes. Our van carries a key cutting machine, so we can cut standard keys on the spot. Restricted keys that belong to a strata key system need written approval from your building manager first.
